Do The Majority of Feminists Promote Casual Sex For Women?
I was disturbed when I purchased the book "Full Frontal Feminism" by Feminist Jessica Valenti. She explained how women (and teenage girls) should feel empowered by casual sex and have casual sex often. If a guy calls her a " s l u t" then she shouldn't care and just ignore and continue to have casual sex.
Gross! What about HIV! (Condoms only protect from the virus by 85%) Also, herpes spreads from skin to skin contact so condoms don't prevent the virus.
I think that teenage girls should know this so they can avoid getting herpes.
Anyways, about what percentage of feminists actually support this casual sex=empowerment/Sex and the City mentality to young girls?
I don't understand why diseases are always warned about when it comes to casual sex. In my experiences, people who engage in casual sex are very selfish people. They use and abuse, and they don't give a crap about anyone else. And when someone finally plays them for the fool, they get mad. Herpes and AIDS are just the punishment. That's just about 65% of the people I've met, that did those things.
As for that book, that woman has an axe to grind. I've researched some feminism for a novel I was writing at the time, and that woman is one of the self-important ones. In order to "get back at men" you're supposed to sleep with a ton of dudes, and then when you get a boyfriend, you tell him how much better in bed your exes were, in order to degrade him.
That's their version of "wimmin! make me some sammiches!".
Selfishness, self-entitlement, blame games, self-righteousness, smugness, etc. those are the worst diseases.
sex is a weapon...it's also a bargaining chip, and the world's #1 commodity. just like money, it'll be used in an ill manner...that creates babies...who grow up to get to get desk jobs... who then pretend that they're either Don Draper or Carrie Bradshaw...and do a horrible job of it...oh boy...
don't forget the social status thing. The one where the more women/men you can sleep with, the higher up on the social food chain you are than everyone else.
Anyway, don't worry about how many feminists support this retardation. I don't think that you'll get a clear percentage anyway.
most people want easy, no-responsibility, no-strings attached lifestyles. Someone has to pick up the pieces...make sure they pay you well.
